The oldest travelling evangelist stopped by my studio last week for a portrait session. Pastor Bishop Otis Clark was born in 1903 in Oklahoma and turns 109 next month. I was honoured with the opportunity to capture his lively spirit as he sat on an old grey trunk and profoundly preached into my lens without inhibitions.

I enjoyed your photos. I am glad you documented him. I had the privelage of photographing Dad Clark when he was a member of Greenwood Christian Center in Tulsa. I photographed him for the Greenwood Cultural Center’s project to document as many of the race riot survivors as possible. It was always an honor for me to walk Dad to his seat on Sunday mornings. He is quite an amazing man and living history.
